There has not been a Republican Senator from Massachusetts in nearly 30 years. If Schilling hopes to buck this trend he will need all the help he can get.
Schilling has a lot of local sports icons that he has rubbed elbows with to learn from. All the qualities you need to be a Senator are found within those in the Boston sports world. The examples are right in front of our eyes.

The Red Sox unvieled these new, throwback-ish road uniforms today along with the use of the ‘hanging sox’ logo for their new alternate uniforms.
ESPN is making seem like the ‘hanging sox’ logo will be the primary logo but as far as I know that is not the case. They do want to phase in the ‘hanging sox’ logo but are not moving away from the ‘B’. The change comes in the use of the ‘hanging sox’ over the common ‘circle logo’.
Overall, I’m liking the new alternates with the red theme still at home and the blue on the road. The new logo’d hats are certain to sell over the holidays, into the season and beyond which was the Sox primary goal in doing this. They have made these changes without compromising the integrity of one of the most historic franchises in sports. In fact, the road uniforms are a great reproduction of a classic Red Sox style.
