Okay, I’m a pretty big draft nerd, but I’ll be the first to admit the NFL Draft is one long, tedious, belabored event. So, I thought I’d toss out a couple less-publicized stories for you to follow while you watch the first round tonight:

40-Yard-Dash-Gate, Combine 2010
As you see, and hear Rich Eisen acknowledge, something fishy is going on at the NFL combine. This all started when Taylor Mays, a USC Safety, ran a 4.24 (unofficially) in the 40-yard dash. This would have tied Chris Johnson’s record 40-time from last year.
