Every season RDM obsesses on the NFL team win total over/unders. It’s one of the more fun bets in all of sports. A single well-placed bet turns an otherwise random team into a must see weekly event. Today we look at the 2012 New York Jets.
The number: 8.5 wins
Over the last few seasons the New York media has finally been paying attention to the little step brother in New York. The Jets have received their fair share with Rex Ryan at the helm, even as the Giants are the team actually winning games.
Now Tim Tebow comes to broadway. The media coverage is already over-the-top. The crush that will take place when their is an actual QB controversy will be unparalleled.
Let the battle of the shirtless Jet QBs begin.
The Jets won 8 games last year. With all the locker room issues already going on, things could easily get worse. And quickly. Three of their first five games are difficult — @ Steelers, San Francisco and Houston. If this team starts out 2 – 3, or worse, the wheels will come off quicker than one of their QBs shirts.
