There are conflicting reports regarding a brawl that involved some rapper’s entourages. We need beat reporters following these guys around. Apparently Chris Brown’s crew got into it with Drake’s (and/or Meek Mill’s) crew. The best part is how this was on a fucking Wednesday night. That’s how you get over a hump day.
In case you wanted to know what a club looks like after a bunch of spoiled brats fight — well, here it is…
Is this surprising? No.
Many of us have been in a fight. Shit happens. However, Chris Brown, Meek Mill and Drake are all older than 22- years-old. That, at the oldest, is the cutoff for doing shit like this. That’s a generous cutoff, too. Essentially, once you are passing “college aged,” this crap has to go.
Take a look at the picture above. First, there appears to be a ton of mixer on this near table. That includes a pair of Red Bulls. Red Bull and alcohol is an often lethal combo. A particular favorite being Red Bull and Vodka, of course.
What really happened here? These people probably weren’t even drunk. Once you get a moderate amount of Red Bull and vodka in you, it’s impossible to sit still. Look at just how small this VIP area is. There are a handful of tables in this one cordoned off area. You know both crews had a fair number of people. Rappers don’t travel light. That means there were a lot of people, all hopped up on Red Bull, in this relatively small area. People are inevitably going to be bumping into each other.
The night club managers need to babysit these guys a bit more closely. Specifically, seat rappers based on beef. Apparently you need to read Rap Fix and Real Talk NY if you run a New York City club. Shame on the promoters for sitting these beefing rapper next to each other. It’s like a teacher that must separate two rambunctious 12-year-olds.
This incident reportedly happened around 4 or 5 am. No big deal, when you are talking about NYC clubs. I just want to know how people (who don’t do drugs) stayed out that late before Red Bull was invented. It’s a magical creation. And it has probably contributed to many a night you want to forget.
