It seems like there is a party going on in Arlington. The question I have; who is funding this party?
The Rangers are currently involved in the early stages of a bankruptcy auction. The proceedings have even included objections from former Rangers who are owed money, and want to be sure they will see the money that is due to come there way.
I am just not sure how a team with no money can go out an increase payroll in the middle of a bankruptcy filing.
The Rangers did not just got out and make a small splash over the past month, they have shown they are serious about wining this fall. Texas might have literally made the best moves out of any MLB team.
They first added Cliff Lee, which is undoubtedly the biggest mid-season addition of the year. Furthermore, catcher Bengie Molina and infielders Jorge Cantu and Cristian Guzman are now Rangers for the stretch run.
The rumblings are starting regarding the manner in which the Rangers have acquired these players. I can imagine that inside the MLB front office circles, team have been wondering how a team with no money can afford to acquire the likes of Cliff Lee and others. This curiosity will certainly spill over to the civilian side, especially if the Rangers end up making an impressive run here in August.

I say GO RANGERS,GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We the fans are the ones supporting the Rangers. It is of no concern who the team owner is. The stands are full every game. Support comes from all over the great state of Texas and beyound.The consession sells are up,up,up. The parking lot is full……… every game.The team is having fun now. We the fans are looking for the play offs.

We hope a group buys the team that loves baseball,loves winning,loves happy fans. A group that wants to make good trades,supports the players and wants CHAMPIONS WINNING EVERY YEAR.
