LA Times blogger Ted Green wrote this in a post early this morning:
“By the way, Pierce’s idea of a fun night is going clubbing and getting stabbed. Good times!”
Over the line? Well, the post has seemingly disappeared off the face of the internet. So, I guess there is no question that it was in poor taste. Now we wait for the LA Times to issue an apology — because they should.
Now here is a video from the beginning of last season which explains Pierce’s little known tattoos and there relation to the stabbing incident.
As Celtic’s fan, it is interesting to me that Ted Green chose to cheap shot Paul Pierce. That is the biggest reason I want to Celtics to prevail in their upcoming series with the Lakes. Fans of the NBA need to respect and admire Paul Pierce’s game. He is one of the greats of this generation, and that should be recognized.
