The first WTTW of the year. I want to welcome you to Revis Island.
Last night was the national championship game, this weekend we have four NFL games that on the whole should be closely contested. You need more? College basketball is just hitting conference play. In short — this time of year is a little piece of sports heaven.
I already gave look-see at the upcoming wet an wildcard weekend. By the way, I am just about ready to flip-flop on half the picks. What hasn’t changed is the fact that I legitimately look forward to each of these games. Personally I will be in Foxboro for the 1 o’clock game on Sunday.

Weekend Predictions
- Pete Carroll will not coach in the NFL next season. I would say 100% BUT maybe he wants to jet town because of the scandal with USC basketball in hopes he can avoid having his name involved.
- Mayweather-Pacquiao will happen in 2010. There is too much money at steak here.

I finally got Chappelle’s Show Season Two this week. I haven’t seen some of these episodes in years and years since they are buried in Comedy Centrals basement somewhere collected dust.
They sure do a good job of keeping clips of YouTube though. What a waste.
This stuff is pure genious. There has been nothing comparable since. It’s too bad Chappelle went looney and went to South Africa to escape.
