Week 11 in the NFL brings a new twist to this post. This is my first week picking after coming off a loss. That’s right, last week, I took Denver (my favorite NFL team) against the beat up, washed up, Redskins. The Redskins beat the Broncos, and both Washington and Chris Simms collectively gave me the finger. For those of you who don’t know, Chris Simms is Denver’s backup QB behind starter Kyle Orton. Orton went down in the 2nd quarter with an ankle injury, and Simms took over and went a phenomenal 3 completions in 13 attempts for a total of 13 yards and an interception.
Anyway, here we go, previous picks/results and this week’s pick:
Week 1: Seattle Seahawks over the Saint Louis Rams. Seattle 28, Saint Louis 0.
Week 2: Washington Redskins over the Saint Louis Rams. Washington 9, Saint Louis 7.
Week 3: Philadelphia Eagles over the Kansas City Chiefs. Philadelphia 34, Kansas City 14.
Week 4: Chicago Bears over the Detroit Lions. Chicago 48, Detroit 24.
Week 5: Dallas Cowboys over the Kansas City Chiefs. Dallas 26, Kansas City 20.
Week 6: Pittsburgh Steelers over the Cleveland Browns. Pittsburgh 27, Cleveland 14.
Week 7: San Diego Chargers over the Kansas City Chiefs. San Diego 37, Kansas City 7.

Week 9: Atlanta Falcons over the Washington Redskins. Atlanta 31, Washington 17.

Week 11: Jacksonville Jaguars over the Buffalo Bills. (Score TBD)
I am taking Jacksonville, but I am not 100% confident in this pick, especially with the game in Buffalo, but after losing both my bets last week, and having my first strike put against me, I am shaking things up and not taking a “sure thing.” I am risking a 2nd strike, but I still have enough Indianapolis, Minnesota, New Orleans, etc. caliber teams to pick safely the rest of the season even if I tank again this week.
So this week for betting, I am taking a 2-team parlay. Cincinnati Bengals (-10) over the Oakland Raiders, and the Philadelphia Eagles (-3) over the Chicago Bears. I think the Bengals are gonna win by 2 TD’s, and Cutler blows.

Lucky you’re not in a suicide league like myself. I have only picked the same team as you once, the falcons a couple weeks ago. I think I will be going with the Bengals, possibly Jacksonville. The Bills suck, I wouldn’t sweat it.
