As we approach Sunday, it can only mean one thing, another day of watching 9 hours of football, and loving every minute of it. It also means that deadlines to submit your picks in your pools is approaching (mine is midnight before the first game). As a recap, I am currently 8-0 from making safe and intelligent picks, and I am a tied with a few others as the leader of the pack. So here we go, recap and this weeks pick:
Week 1: Seattle Seahawks over the Saint Louis Rams. Seattle 28, Saint Louis 0.
Week 2: Washington Redskins over the Saint Louis Rams. Washington 9, Saint Louis 7.
Week 3: Philadelphia Eagles over the Kansas City Chiefs. Philadelphia 34, Kansas City 14.
Week 4: Chicago Bears over the Detroit Lions. Chicago 48, Detroit 24.
Week 5: Dallas Cowboys over the Kansas City Chiefs. Dallas 26, Kansas City 20.
Week 6: Pittsburgh Steelers over the Cleveland Browns. Pittsburgh 27, Cleveland 14.
Week 7: San Diego Chargers over the Kansas City Chiefs. San Diego 37, Kansas City 7.
Week 8: Houston Texans over the Buffalo Bills. Houston 31, Buffalo 10.
Week 9: Atlanta Falcons over the Washington Redskins. (TBD)
So the Redskins are imploding on and off the field, the Falcons played right with the undefeated offensively stacked Saints last week, and the game is at the Georgia Dome. I wish I had more money to put on this game. ‘Nuff Said.
Now watch, the one game I am super-cocky about all season and Atlanta gets blown out… May have jinxed myself.
On a betting note, I am so far only liking the Atlanta (-10) against Washington, and I like, but feel its too good to be true, San Francisco (-4.5) against Tennessee. I am only putting money on the Atlanta game though.
