The basketball announcing world is going to have to move on without a great. This week Bill Walton announced his decision to not return to the booth this season for ESPN. He has been having major, major issues with his back and has decided to call it quits.
Walton certainly had a style all his own. I think I speak for everyone here when I say, “Throw it down big man! Throw it down!”
