Gone.
First off, let’s be real. I did not watch Game 3 last night, I was out living it up in Tallahassee. (By living it up, I mean watching Oregon, make USC look silly). We know the Yankees won Game 3, and they just won Game 4.
I thought maybe the Phillies could’ve won tonight, as when I got home from IM basketball (yes, grad students play IM sports), Feliz hit his bottom of the 8th game tying HR. Then In the top of the 9th, Brad Lidge was 1 strike away (three times) from getting out of the inning. But instead, gave up 3 runs which proved to be the difference of the game.
I hope Philly just loses tomorrow so that the Yankees don’t celebrate in the Bronx. I will officially say, I believe New York will win this series. It pains me dearly to say it, but I got to be honest, blame the bullpen. Like I said in my recap of Game 1, the bullpen is what will win this series, and if Lidge holds the tie, the game may have finished different.
P.S. Have people heard of this ARod story, that he has not one but two paintings of him as a centaur in his bedroom? I’d have griffins personally, but hey, to each their own.
