Welcome to the Weekend: Staring NFL Cheerleaders Halloween Costumes

Moving right along.

Check out Extra Mustard’s cheerleader of the week. Kayli Fahl seems like a cool chick. What kind of last name is Fahl? Anyone? There are funny moments in her interview. First of all she has some weird obsession with Jamie Foxx–he is mentioned more than once. At the same time she is practical. One of the three things she could bring if stuck on a desert island… toilet paper. Gross.

Here is the gem though; when asked about what the worst date she’d ever been on was shed said, “Dating a guy who never took me on dates!”

Kayli, we have a name for that… booty call!

Friday

8:00 – West Virginia @ South Florida +3.5 [ESPN2]

Tonight we have a good Big East game on ESPN. WVU barely squeaked out a win last week at their homecoming against a hyped Connecticut team. USF should be a tougher team but I really want to like West Virginia even to put money down–they should a lot of heart in that win last week. Still I feel like USF could win outright without getting those 3.5… can’t pull the trigger.

Saturday

3:30 – Kansas @ Texas Tech -6.5 [ABC]

These are two teams that seem to be on about the same level this season. Thus we have this nice 6.5 spread. I think the home team will be able to use their home field to their advantage and be able to win by that touchdown.

7:45 – South Carolina @ Tennessee -6 [ESPN]

Tennessee has played some good teams tough this year since playing awful at home against a bad UCLA squad. Similar to the game above, I would say these teams are at about the same level at this point in the season. The devistation against ‘Bama is either going to motivate or destroy this Vols team going forward.

8:00 – Texas @ Oklahoma State +8.5 [ABC]

I’m not going to say this is Texas’ last major test but it is definitely the toughest of the bunch. OSU has had it easy of the last several weeks–the only tough test coming @ Texas A&M. They are going to be up for this one. However, the Longhorns will be too. I have a feeling that OSU’s latest performances are a product of some good match-ups for them. UT is going to march into Stillwater and stomp.

8:00 – USC @ Oregon +3 [ABC]

The spread for this was started at 3.5. I am surprised that it has dropped–meaning many books are getting more money coming on on the Ducks this far this week. However, I am not surprised because I disagree. Maybe it is mostly wishful thinking since I said at the beginning of the season this would be the year USC drops from the top of the Pac-10.
