1:00 – Denver @ Baltimore -3
I think McDaniels’ job is safe for the moment. Although, Denver has played a rather easy schedule thus far. This game on the other hand will certainly not be easy. We will definitely learn a lot about this Broncos team this week on the road in Baltimore. The Ravens are coming off a bye and are also coming off a three straight losses. Sounds like they should be ready for this game. Still, I love getting points with the Broncos. That is hard to pass on.
1:00 – St. Louis @ Detroit -3.5
I’ve been adamant in saying that the Rams are terrible. How weird is it to see a minus sign next to Detroit?! I think that the Lions could beat up on the Rams handily. This might be St. Louis’ only chance at a win this year. They best make the most of it–but I don’t see it going their way.
1:00 – NY Giants @ Philadelphia (pk)
The Eagles performance on Monday night might have created just as many questions as answers. They beat the ‘Skins in D.C. but they didn’t look great in doing so. The Giants have looked crappy for two straight weeks.
If they can’t get up for this one then they need to check their motivation. They need a nice division win and this is the week they will get it. Giants… no spread… I like it.
4:15 – Minnesota @ Green Bay -3
Favre bowl 2.0, it’s already here. As much as it pains me to say; can’t you just see Favre lighting it up on Sunday? Again, I don’t think I have the heart to put money on Favre but I like the Vikings getting points here, even on the road.
Monday
8:30 – Atlanta @ New Orleans -9
The Atlanta defense is pretty good. However, the Saints offense is really good. The Saints should cover easy as long as the team that showed up in Miami is now finally laid to rest.
