I feel I have liked getting points with an underdog a number of times this year. This week things are going the other way…
Sunday
1:00 – Packers @ Browns +6.5
The only game that the Browns have been truly competitive in was their win at Buffalo. The Packers, on the other hand, do not make me supremely confident. Still, until they show me something I can’t take the Browns even at home.
On another note, is this not the ugliest shirt you have every seen? If you can find a women who would actually wear this please let me know.
4:15 – Bears @ Bengals -1.5
This spread should be pretty much dead on. The Bengals play in close games. Now, it is just a matter of which way you believe the pendulum will swing.
Both teams beat Pittsburgh by a field goal. However, on top of that win, I believe that the Bengals have proven to be able to pull out these squeakers.
4:15 – Saints @ Miami +6
Miami has beat two AFC East teams in a row. I think that has artificially and inappropriately moved this line down.
Saints should roll in the MIA-yo.
8:20 – Cardinals @ Giants -6.5
Giants just got spanked. Spanked hard in their biggest match-up of the year to date. This is my revenge pick of the week. I thought the Jets would have a similar mentality last week but they brought the suck. I look for the Giants to step it up and not let that happen. It will have to be another cold day in hell New York for the Cardinals to take this one from the Giants who could use a win coming off that loss.
Monday
8:35 – Eagles @ Redskins +6
Wait, maybe this should be my revenge pick. The Eagles are coming of an awful loss. It was a game, might I add, that I pointed out had a rediculous spread giving the Raiders a full two TDs. The Eagles have to roll by the touchdown on Monday night and salvage this season.
