Former Penn State running back, Austin Scott is filing a lawsuit against The University. Scott, who is the all-time leading rusher in Pennsylvania High School History, was accused of raping a girl half way through the 2007 season. He was kicked off the team abruptly ending his senior season. He is now filing a law suit against Penn State University, the prosecutor, and the accuser. Why does this matter you ask?Let’s set the story up: OWS traveled down to Happy Valley the last week of September 2007. The Nittany Lions were in Illinois playing the Illini for a 12:00 start. Penn State ended up losing the ball game against a then bad team (they ended up going to the Rose Bowl).
That night OWS was out on the town. I was at the bar feelin’ pretty good when I notice a girl to my right. I was with a friend, so I decided to strike up a conversation with her. It wasn’t much but she started to chuckle a little bit, and then out of no where came a large man.
Who do you think it was? Austin Scott who looked at me, stood in the middle of us and took her away. My friend and I thought it was hilarious. Later that very week we read that Austin Scott had been charged with rape.
Oops. So the question is, Austin are you suing the correct people here? I think it is me you really want.
