Kimbo Slice Makes UFC ‘Ultimate Fighter’ In Cage Debut Tonight

kimbo-slice-roy-nelson-tufMedia directed quotes from Dana White and others have lead me to believe that Kimbo does not make The Ultimate Fighter season finale. Of course, that could be all a part of Dana and the UFC’s plan.

Before we even think about Kimbo legitimizing himself and winning this tournament, he must get by an already established pro tonight on Spike TV.

Dana White is predicting 6 million viewers will tune in tonight to see Slice fight. From previous knowledge, The Ultimate Fighter generally pulls in a rating some where around 2 million. It is important to note that the first week of this season did pull a nice 4.1 mil. Remember, we are talking cable–that is a great number.

To build on the fact that many quotes have seemed to allude to a loss somewhere on the show; Kimbo told Sherdog:

“This fight is very exciting. This is probably, I would say, not hands down, but pound-for-pound a good fight, one of my best fights…I was impressed with my performance. I was impressed with everything. I’m not crying about nothing.”

Tell me that isn’t an odd quote. Whatever happens  I will be one of the “6 million” tuning in tonight.
