This Ochocinco-Merriman drama that started in June is still in full swing.
It looks like it was Chad that started thing back up today with the comment pictured above. Merriman, tweeted in response, “You and I both know you dont want dat this aint hard knocks.” Merriman went on to say, “& just for the record i dont hit women but i will def. Beat ur ass.”
These two are perfect examples of what I would have been like as a successful pro athlete. This situation is an even more perfect example of something I would find hilarious if I was Chad or Shawne.
When you have millions and your only job is to workout, what the heck else are you going to do to entertain yourself? Enter twitter.
It’s so simple, this twitter thing. Like Nick Barnett said earlier this week, “With this Twitter thing I forget that everything is public.. Sometimes I feel I am talking to my friends and just talk.” That is a dangerous thing, especially with assholes like us watching. That’s how posts like this happen.
The important thing is; lets make this bout happen. How about we do it for charity? Come on Chad, the Bengals aren’t going to the Super Bowl. And the Chargers stumbled last week as well. This sounds like perfect entertainment. On second thought what about pro bowl weekend in Hawaii! That will be infinitely better than the actual game that takes place down there.
