I am by no means a big Joe Buck fan. However, he does need to be commended this morning.
It’s so difficult to have someone in the booth who doesn’t know much about the game of baseball and still keep the flow of the conversation going and relevant to the action on the field. Not to mention the distraction of having to deal with all the security around the booth because someone inside the booth is so vehemently hated. All of that and I haven’t even mentioned that the President Barrack Obama was also in the booth.

Not since McCarver’s interaction with Deion Sanders during the 1992 MLB playoffs have I seen a more awkward interaction than McCarver trying to conversate with the President.
