Shocker, This Wasn’t McNair’s First Affair

The former business manager of a Minneapolis strip club told the New York Daily News that Steve McNair was a frequent patron at the club. The owner calims that McNair had an intimate and extramarital relationship with an exotic dancer for about six years.

I don’t need a strip club owner to tell me that this isn’t the first time that McNair cheated on his wife. Like there was something so special about Sahel Kazemi that McNair had to ditch his wife and kids… likely story. This is not the kind of action that happens one time. That is especially the case for a man who had multiple kids at home.

I happened to come across the 1998 NFL Quarterback challenge on NFL Network last night. There was a laundry list of interesting moments to say the least. Brett Farve’s formerly parted hair. An optimistic Ryan Leaf talking about his upcoming NFL career. In dead last place, Scott Mitchell of the Detroit Lions. The list goes on and it also contains the Ravens QB at the time, Steve McNair. It was a bit surreal seeing him a former NFL Man of the Year runner-up and now knowing that sometimes things are not as they seem.

Apparently Kazemi believed that McNair was in the process of a divorce but when McNair became more detached from their relationship she became upset. On the other hand, McNairs stripper friend made no bones about the fact that she did not mind if McNair has a wife and kids in Tennessee.

I’m sure there are a number of other girls who could tell a similar story. McNair may not have deserved what he got but let’s not immortalize the man. This is turning into a Michael Jackson case.
