For those of you who have become fans of Chris “Birdman” Andersen, whether it is for his energy, his antics, his fantasy help if you are on a last ditch effort to win blocks, or his comeback from drug addiction, fear not, he has re-signed with the Denver Nuggets for another 5 years.
Andersen is one of those players that like the Nuggets or not, is good to have in the NBA. He is always full of energy, goes 110% on EVERY play (even in hopeless games), and he is one of those players you can’t help but watch, even if it just to laugh at his block attempts on every single shot, even if it would be smarter to crash the boards.
So while many people are thrilled about Sheed goin to the C’s (I am one of them), shocked to hear about Yao, wondering how Shaq will affect the Cavs, happy about the Artest to replace Ariza deal in Los Angeles, or thinking the Magic are gonna be unstoppable with V. Carter, I am actually just as excited that the Birdman will continue to fly in Denver.
