If yo have been here before this week, you have likely noticed that we now have a new layout. It was a long time in the making but the process is now finally behind us.
We have moved to our own server and now are off the old Wordpress hosted platform. We have some exciting new features and a bit of a sleeker design to boot.
If you are an astute sports blog reader than you may have also noticed that Pro Football Talk has completed their merger with NBC Sports and subsequent redesign. I just wanted to apologize for overshadowing PFT, Florio.

You may have also noticed that this weekend is July 4th other wise know as Independence Day. I look at this as OWS’ independence day from the rule of the oppressive Wordpress army. Frowning upon advertisements–those commie bastards. I just wanted to apologize for overshadowing the USA, Yankee Doodle.

This is by far the best thing to come out of this weekend. Sunday is the start of the UFC and Spike TV’s countdown of the 100 greatest fights in UFC history.
I believe an episode will be airing each night next week at 9 PM ET.

Of course, Manny returns to the Majors tonight in San Deigo. Manny has portrayed the American dream to the fulliest. Cheat to win and do whatever it takes to get to the top.
It’ll be interesting to see what kind of ticket sales the Padres get for Manny’s return. I would think that would be a tough ticket to get but in San Diego I am guessing that will not be the case.
Get that grill hot and cook up some burgers and dogs. Represent the country well. Have a same and happy 4th!
