Yes, this is a post… about a post about a tweet… about a post about a tweet. I’d like to say it is the first of its kind but I am not certain that is the case.
Up and coming UFC heavyweight Shane Carwin has been using his twitter account a lot in recent weeks. It is something that I noticed myself. The guys at Cage Potato were just as perceptive.
CP noticed that a post from Shane that announced his next fight for October 24th in LA. That post from Shane was followed up an hour later with Shane saying that he was told not to divulge that information yet.
The 6’4, 260 pound heavyweight did not appreciate the humor put forth by CP at his expense including a post about potential nicknames. Today Carwin fired back calling CagePotato, CageCrapato. That tears deep. What a shocking display of ingenuity.
I love when athletes have legitimate personal accounts that are not run by their PR team. However, I think this goes to show why athletes like Tiger Woods or Michael Jordan, or who want to be like them, will never have a personal twitter account. Their images are micromanaged and this type of thing can really change the perception people have of you.
Shane Carwin Is Not Amused By Our Antics [Cage Potato]

Carwin did point out that it was all in fun later.
But your points are valid.
He also blue the whistle on his match up with Can Velasquez too early as well.
