BU Wins NCAA Frozen Four, National Title

bu-wins

The Division I NCAA hockey championship stays in the Hockey east and more precisely in Boston. Last year BC beat Notre Dame easily to win the Frozen Four Tourney and this year it was BU’s turn.

This was the kinds of game that is straight out of a Mighty Ducks movie. The kind of thing that you would call unrealistic when you saw it on the big screen.

In a simply amazing third period, BU comes back from 2 goals down with under a minute left to send the game to an extra period.

Massachusetts is now tied with Colorado for the second most DI hockey championships with 9. This caps an amazing run for the BU Senior class. A class that accomplishes exactly 100 wins in their time at BU.

BOSTON UNIVERSITY CLAIMS NATIONAL TITLE WITH 4-3 OVERTIME WIN OVER MIAMI [Hockey East]
