It finally happened. After weeks of drama Cutler is out of Denver. The Cutler Bet goes to the underdog. I won! Cutler is now a Bear. McDaniels might have let go the “franchise QB” but he didn’t exactly get the shaft in return. The Broncos received Kyle Orton and three picks — including the 18th overall pick this year and a No. 1 next year.
It makes sense; two No. 1 picks for a guy who has never lost in the playoffs. Oh… he was never won a game yet either… But he has been impressive in his two full years as a starter… try under .500 with a 17-20 record.
It seems more and more like McDaniels made out like a bandit in this one. The only problem is you still don’t have a QB Josh!
More on the weekend…
It’s the final weekend of college basketball as March has come to an end.
I would love to at least see one, if not both of the underdogs, make it to the finals. If that doesn’t happen than we have the two consensus top teams in the country at the beginning of the year going head-to-head the final game of the season. I suppose that isn’t so bad either.

Sunday is MLB’s opening night. It’s raining today in Philly and there is more rain predicted for early next week. However, at this time Sunday is suppose to be a decent 63 degrees for the festivities. Oh, the beauty of baseball in early April in the Northeast.

Just so some other detail sensitive prick doesn’t say it first, it was 2 first round picks, not No. 1 Picks.
This whole trade is tough to disect. First of all Cutler is a huge, huge B*tch. However, he is a good quarterback and his defense lost him a lot of games. The bears made out well, they have not had a good qb since McMahon I guess (even though it was the defense that won the Super Bowl, and Payton helped as well). Now, the Broncos are going to be pretty bad.
Love that baseball is back, can’t wait!
