The UFC will be live tonight from Fort Bragg, NC where they will present Fight Night 16 live on Spike TV.
Here is the televised card:
- Josh Koscheck (171) vs. Yoshiyuki Yoshida (171)
- Jonathan Goulet (171) vs. Mike Swick (171)
- Razak Al-Hussan (205) vs. Steve Cantwell (206)
- Tim Credeur (186) vs. Nate Loughran (185)
- Jim Miller (156) vs. Matt Wiman (156)
I’m not going to go into as much depth as for a major PPV but here goes…
Upset Alert:
Nate Loughran over Tim Credeur — Loughran is at a nice +140 or 2.4:1 and I believe it is a bad line; he should be favored. Credeur is the household name from the Ultimate Fighter but he is not the better fighter. I wouldn’t be surprised if Loughran can stop Credeur.
Guaranteed Win(s):
Steve Cantwell over Razak Al-Hussan — Cantwell is a beast; the only issue here is no one knows much about Al-Hussan.
Mike Swick over Jonathan Goulet — Swick needs this fight to stay relevant.
Main Event:
Honestly, this is a tough one. I really don’t want to touch this fight betting or prediction wise. I want to pick Yoshida to upset so badly. Regardless, here is what I see happening; Kos stifles Yoshida with take downs and some ground and pound. — Josh Koscheck over Yoshiyuki Yoshida
