Watch the Minotauro Nogueira vs Heath Herring fight from UFC 73 here…
Let me explain for those who are not fight fans. I will put the ALCS game that corresponds to the fight action in brackets. Heath Herring (white trunks) is the underdog against Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (dark trunks). First, Nogueira immediately takes control of the contest and takes Herring down just as everyone expects [ALCS GAME 1]. Herring seems to be in trouble, if only for a moment, but he fights back to his feet. They get up and exchange blows for awhile; both sides look strong [ALCS GAME 2]. Now, the unthinkable happens. At 6:50 in this video, Herring throws a leg kick that knocks Nogueira to the ground [ALCS GAME 3]. Now, Herring jumps on Nogueria to capitalize on the wounded fighter, laying into him with hammer fists and straight shots to the head [ALCS GAME 4]. But wait, what is this? Herring is letting Nogueira stand back up instead of going for the kill? [ALCS GAME 5].
Needless to say, Nogueria comes back to win the next two rounds [ALCS GAMES 6, 7?].
