As I stated yesterday, something a bit curious is going on with this Mario Chalmers and Darrell Arthur story. It was reported that there might have been a third person in the room when those two were busted. It has also been rumored that the third party may have been K-State’s #2 overall pick Michael Beasley.
More than one source initially reported that Beasley was in the room; including ESPN.
If Beasley was in the room and was not doing anything wrong then why what appears to be a cover-up? This just makes everyone look worse for no reason; both ESPN and Beasley. This leads me to believe that maybe Beasley is not exactly innocent.
ESPN needs to issue a statement saying that their initial report was inaccurate. Why would they not do that? Until they do, I think there is something shysty going down.
That third person in the room was Joakim Noah.
